Today’s winnner is … rat – a – tat- tat! … Ramya! Ramya wins a new copy of Patricia Wood’s Lottery (a wonderful book). Congrats, Ramya! If you’ll send your shipping information to katrina (at) stonoff (dot) com, I’ll get your book in the mail. Don’t forget to also send it to Patricia Wood to get an autographed nameplate to put in the book (her e-mail address is here: I don’t want to post it again, to reduce spam). Thanks, Patricia!
Hard to believe, but it’s time, once again, for: Your Choice! Any book. Yes, any* book.
*Well, any book that is readily available for $25 or less, not counting shipping. You knew there had to be a catch, right? But it’s not much of a catch.
To win, just comment below with the name of the book you want, before noonish Sunday (Pacific Time). Next Monday, come back to see if I’ve chosen your name from one of my hats. Contest open to anyone, anywhere, even if you won today (Hi, Ramya!) or gave birth to me (Hi, Mom!).
Now, the hat:
This is the hat Ginnie sent me, out of the blue, on my Roller-Coaster Day. Isn’t it adorable?! Thanks, Ginnie! It’s a fairly standard vintage pillbox with velour fabric and netting. There’s no label except a tiny one sewn into the seam that says, “Union Made in the USA.” And it’s definitely my favorite hat because it came as a complete surprise on a day that I really needed a pick-me-up. And just think — it was neither illegal, immoral, nor fattening!
