Not Something You See Everyday!

I was driving home from the gym today when I saw a truck wheel in perfect condition rolling along the bike lane. It was driving with the flow of traffic, holding no one up, but staying in the bike lane, as single-wheeled vehicles should.

About a block further, I saw a woman running on the sidewalk, but she wasn’t dressed for jogging. A couple of blocks further (all uphill), a heavily loaded pickup truck sat by the side of the road, tilted onto one axle.

Yesterday, I saw two coyotes in my back yard. The first loped away when I opened the sliding glass door, but the second just watched until I ran toward him, waving my arms and screaming. Made me nervous. We may have named our miniature dachshund “Chocolate Chip Cookie,” but that doesn’t mean we want her to be someone’s snack!
