Oh, my gosh! It WORKED! How cool is that?

Thank you, Jay-Jay and Shanon! Dani, I'm not sure if I have that option, but I'll definitely look into it.

Yup, I do it when I want to send myself a picture on my phone, since I can't connect my phone to my laptop in any way. I just type my e-mail in the space provided for the phone number, and it works just fine!

Depending on your provider, you can also do the reverse and email your phone: for my carrier (T-Mobile), it's my 10-digit number @ tmomail.net.

Put an entry in your address book that is your email address (instead of a phone number), and send it a text message! It's pretty easy. I do it ALL THE TIME, as reminder for things I need to do when I am back on the computer.
