Quick update. I’m on the ferry from Mukilteo to Clinto, heading to the Whidbey Island Writers Conference.
The short version: my sore throat turned out to be strep, but I’m 36 hours into a course of Zithromax and feeling much better. Mad Scientist also got it, and he spent yesterday looking pretty droopy. But my sweet Mars took the day off, so I wouldn’t miss my conference.
And it’s not like he needed a day off, right? (Yes, I am being sarcastic.)
I’ll try to post, but you may not hear from me until Monday — when I’ll be picking the winners!

I hope the weekend went well. I went on a trip a few months ago and got real bad allergies, I did make the best of it though and took lots of medicine.
